Learner Led Offering: Our learners often love leading classes of their own, and this time slot is reserved for anyone in the Bungalow community who wants to share an offering with their friends. Past examples include: drawing, rocks/geology, comic book writing and illustration, drama club, show and tell, meet my pet, and baking. What do you love to do? It's up to your own imagination what you offer and we can't wait to see what you come up with!
Bungalow Business: All learners are encouraged to attend this all-community meeting during which we use ALC tools to connect in a deeper way. (e.g. "set the week," "change-up," reflections, "rose, bud, thorn", news, updates, etc). This is also the time to set future offerings and claim the "Learner Led Offering" slot.
Gaming Club: Learners will connect on a platform to participate in various games with each other. Helping to build community and give learners the opportunity to learn something new. The facilitator for this offering is Asia Lovett.
Social Time: There is no agenda to this offering other than connecting with friends. Past topics have included pet show and tell, virtual home tours, gaming, music jams and more! The facilitator hosting this meeting will vary, and there is no limit on the number of participants. Mel Cavalli will be facilitating this social hour.
Riddles, Word Games and Fun Ice Breakers: This is as fun as it sounds! Learners will figure out the answer to riddles, work with words and learn a little more about each other. The session will cover multiple CA core K-6 Language Arts standards. The facilitator for this offering is Brenda Quispe.
